The first in a series on BNSF by WB Video. Note that a couple of the WB BNSF titles have already been reviewed. Here is a transitional visit to BNSF. Much of the locomotives are in BNSF relettered schemes. Tour the BNSF transcon across Northern Arizona. Seen are locations from Maine, AZ. to Crookton, AZ.
A single DVD-R. No Chapter menu. On-screen subtitles. No maps. Preview section. Narrated by Tom Jensen.
Full screen aspect ratio. Pro shot with live audio. Colors and sound levels are balanced. Clean image on HDTV. Videography is a strong suit for this show.
Train information varies. Some have symbols and destinations. Others have locomotive models. Good location awareness. Pretty basic script. It is adequate. Soundtrack is strong on train sounds.

BNSF A Time of Change Volume 1
Videography is excellent. Strong live audio. Locations are closely followed. Narrative moves the scenes along.
It’s good to still see many locomotives in original paint. The relettered units are done while mostly retaining factory schemes.
The Seligman Subdivision is a scenic one. Call it circa 1999. No exact year was given. This release was published in 2000. Well worth a look, in any era.
Receives a bump upward. BNSF in transition was a fine time to film. This BNSF series is worth considering.
