SP Super Bowl Special

January had SP Sprcial to Pasadena for the Super Bowl. Two Kodachrome SDP45 locos haul this 10 car move. Broncos vs. Giants at the Rose Bowl. Giants won.

UP Super Bowl Special

Union Pacific passenger train deadhead from San Bernardino Yard.  Two GP40X units 93/ 95. They pull this one through Cajon Pass. Day after the Super Bowl was played.

This UP train blew a red signal to stop. A Santa Fe freight led by 2851 is flagged down. Both trains facing head-on. The Union Pacific is ordered to reverse back to Summit.

NRHS Convention

July at Roanoke. Three Southern FP7A engines at Bentonville. Lead unit is 3499 with a consist of mainly N&W cars. Arrives at NS yard in Roanoke.

Norfolk and Western 1218 at Bluefield.  It gets swapped for the 611. At Schaeffer Crossing. Both Steam are coupled with 1218 on the point. Robert Claytor Jr., operates the 1218.

California Operation Lifesaver

Operation Lifesaver Special to San Diego. Involves: Southern Pacific, Union Pacific E9A 951and Santa Fe FP45. SP E9A 6051 street runs in Oakland.

Chicago NorthWestern

Freights to Fremont, Nebraska. 5063 paced with Conrail 6502, 6376, 6262. A Piggyback with 5058 passes, as 5063 waits.

Fremont & Elkhorn Valley Railroad

Steam 1702. A Consolidation 2-8-0. Tourist line. Fremont to Hooper, NE. Not much information given.

New York & Susquehanna Western

Follow a Sea-Land double-stack over an ex: Erie mainline to Binghamton, NY. BN SD45s lead 6500,63  and a cowl unit.

Union Pacific Sherman Hill

Cheyenne towards Laramie. Modern diesels here. Harriman with a Westbound.  GE with 2 switchers in lash-up. Rock cut at Perkins.

UP 8444 Northern

Highlights are fun. No selections overstay.
