Predominately, a Diesel episode. Electromotive E7 and E8/9, are the main power sets. There are more types. Several Steam locomotives are still in service, or on excursions.

Pennsylvania at Lima, Ohio. Ladies, at right. Offer Military free Coffee and Donuts. A tradition since World War 2. Here, they meet The Manhattan Limited. This was in 1967.
Grand Trunk Western in 1954 Steam 6330 with The International Limited. 1968 The International with diesels.
Ìllinois Central Sizeable feature. City of New Orleans. City of Miami. Additional. Kankakee and Kensington locations.
Illinois Central. City of New Orleans. E9 4042 leads it, at Kankakee, Illinois.
New York Central. A major chapter. Emery’s favorite railroad. Some Steam. Also name trains: Twilight Limited Wolverine, 20th Century Limited. Additional action. System.
New York Central. The Chicagoan arrives at Elkhart, Indiana in 1961.
