These shows were originally produced by Rail Innovations. Purchased and re-released in this edition seen here. Greg Scholl was impressed by these shows.

vlcsnap-2019-08-26-09h47m05s988Complete coverage of the Algoma Division mainline, on Canadian Pacific. Practically an understatement!

vlcsnap-2019-08-26-10h48m06s650They used all available means. The usual trackside video. The better Cab Ride footage across the sub. The even better, high rail pickup with the track inspection. The ultimate, helicopter fly along. In fact, let’s land it for more remote views!

vlcsnap-2019-08-26-12h31m59s443One would expect an intelligent script to match this brilliant edit of film. No worries. Enviornmental audio rounds out the proceedings.

We shall look at each show seperately. That is how they appear. A choice of ‘Play All’ is on the Top Menu. No other menu choices.

 (CP Rail North of Superior)

Length: 36 minutes

vlcsnap-2019-08-26-09h38m02s190

Filmed in the Summer season. 130 miles Red Rock to Heron Bay. An engineering triumph at the time. A very expensive one. This section is loaded with: rock cuts, bridges, and tunnels. Along the shore of Lake Superior.

vlcsnap-2019-08-26-09h31m04s394Schreiber is a division point on this line. Good history is given here.

vlcsnap-2019-08-26-10h07m49s677Ride extra 5729 East out of town.

vlcsnap-2019-08-26-09h33m06s495Jack Fish Bay was very costly mileage to construct. A scenic spot.

vlcsnap-2019-08-26-09h47m55s770Mink Tunnel is another highlight.

vlcsnap-2019-08-26-09h50m31s529Check those old boxcars!

vlcsnap-2019-08-26-09h53m28s176Back at Schreiber. Night ops. Weather.

vlcsnap-2019-08-26-10h02m36s702

Ride with the CP Rail Roadmaster on a Hy- Rail Truck. This is a weekly track inspection.

vlcsnap-2019-08-26-10h02m51s411At Cavers, a close-up look.

vlcsnap-2019-08-26-10h05m15s878Red Rock. Interchange with Canadian National.

vlcsnap-2019-08-26-10h15m51s376Night falls. Another cycle begins anew.

This was an abbreviated review of the show.

(A Superior Winter)

Length: 41 minutes

vlcsnap-2019-08-26-12h27m41s007

This show covers the same territory. Filmed in the Winter season. Helicopter used and viewers will hear it operating. The landscape is transformed. Fascinating contrast to the previous program.

vlcsnap-2019-08-26-10h33m08s964Cab Ride action, with a different feel.

vlcsnap-2019-08-26-10h42m32s804Here is a powerful trio of MLW units. Using the Alco locomotive designs. They were still in Canadian service, years after most US built equivalents were retired.

vlcsnap-2019-08-26-12h33m03s674White River is another crew change point.

vlcsnap-2019-08-26-10h56m18s034Scenic beauty abounds on both shows.

vlcsnap-2019-08-26-12h26m27s343The aerial views are memorable. Note the exposed frozen ice.

vlcsnap-2019-08-26-10h30m25s016There are barely any towns by the tracks. The Transcontinental has plenty of traffic!

vlcsnap-2019-08-26-12h34m32s818Grain is huge business. An empty unit grain train is on the move.

vlcsnap-2019-08-26-12h27m12s494Approaching Red Sucker Tunnel.

vlcsnap-2019-08-26-10h39m24s206In the post caboose era, it becomes crew change points.

vlcsnap-2019-08-26-10h47m52s797Greg Scholl Video Productions. They have a stellar release of rare, Canadian Pacific railroading. Definitive, and memorable. Excellent for family viewing.

A musician for many years. Guitar is my main instrument. Enjoy bass playing .Rock and Blues styles. However, Lead Vocals have been a Huge surprise!
The crowd loves my singing. I sound like; Joe Cocker, Greg Allman, with a bluesy tone. Nobody was more shocked than me. A late bloomer.

I love to have some laughs. People think that I am hilarious, and I remain clueless as to why... :)

I hope that everyone enjoys the material.
