Penn Central 4

Penn Central 4

Green Frog Productions

Format: DVD  Length: 60 minutes

Locations: Dearborn, Wayne Jct., Detroit, Ann Arbor, Maryland, New Jersey

Time Period: 1973

Source: Emery Gulash

Volume 4 begins in the spring of 1973, in Michigan. There some effective low light level scenes. The Detroit River tunnels are a good segment. River Rouge piece starts slow with too much boat traffic, and picks up nicely.

Surprise, a Ringling Brothers, Barnum & Bailey circus train rolls through Ohio. Emery follows this move to Detroit. Later, we visit the fast, electrified, Northeast Corridor. Seabrook, Maryland is our jumpimg off point. There you’ll see the contrasting Amtrak Metroliners to old GG1 led passenger and freight trains. Many electric trains are running under the catenary.

Quality. High quality, 16mm film images and sound. Narration is good, though he seems more certain of locations then some of the equipment. Sound is fine, as you would expect.

This is a fine presentation of the Penn Central series. Highly Recommended!

A musician for many years. Guitar is my main instrument. Enjoy bass playing .Rock and Blues styles. However, Lead Vocals have been a Huge surprise!
The crowd loves my singing. I sound like; Joe Cocker, Greg Allman, with a bluesy tone. Nobody was more shocked than me. A late bloomer.

I love to have some laughs. People think that I am hilarious, and I remain clueless as to why... :)

I hope that everyone enjoys the material.
