To the Trains… 👉

This line tour begins in Vancouver. BNSF 4622 backs over the bridge. The relettered BNSF  2082 waits for clearance. Meanwhile, Amtrak announcements are heard at the Vancouver Station over the public address.

Just off the bridge is Vancouver Station. A solid set of BN green and black. BNSF 2082/2898/3116/2720 make this lash-up. Northbound.

Two Amtrak trains are on the bridge. Empire Builder going to Columbia River Gorge and Coast Starlight to Seattle is at the right. Both trains will stop at Vancouver Station.

Empire Builder

Amtrak scene that resembles a picture postcard. East of Stevenson.

Stevenson

Amtrak 27.  Empire Builder Portland Section blasts by the stopped BNSF freight in a siding at Stevenson.

At Home Valley. The Cascade Mountains are high in the background. BNSF engines haul a long Swift RoadRailer.

Owl Rock Tunnel 5

A matched lash-up of BNSF GE locos in Heritage Two paint exit Tunnel Five. Engine 4614 leads a Manifest freight.

The Basalt Columns are a notable formation and are seen right up to the Columbia River here. BNSF mixed freight.

Tunnel 11

A scene for the Model Railroaders at Lyle. Tunnel #11 at right is along the river. Meanwhile, an adjacent highway tunnel is empty on the left.

Mount Hood

West of Avery, Washington in the Columbia River Gorge. A faded BNSF 4461 (C44-9W) is slowly approaching with a double-stack. Whitecaps on the river signal windy conditions. Checkout the snow covered Mt. Hood in the background.

Fallbridge is a highlight feature within this program.

Fallbridge Jct

There are multiple angles and scenes on both sides of the river. Includes some Union Pacific action. Here is a complete view with a BNSF freight.

Fallbridge

Fallbridge with BNSF 4745 and two Santa Fe Warbonnets about to cross on the bridge.

Columbia River Gorge Volume 1

The North Bank of the Columbia River is the BNSF route covered here. Union Pacific on the opposite side is covered in Volume 2. The Columbia River Gorge is stunning to see. Cascade Mountains often dominate the backgrounds.

Pentrex has a fine quality program. Excellent Videography. A fine soundtrack. Informative narration by Dave Drui.

Wide variety of locomotives. Some Union Pacific operates on the south bank. Assorted Amtrak passenger trains. Bridges, the Columbia River and some nature scenes.

A great choice for most any Railfan. Some memorable scenes for Model Railroaders. Just enough Amtrak is interspersed with additional action. This is a must have for BNSF people. An enjoyable release from Pentrex.

A musician for many years. Guitar is my main instrument. Enjoy bass playing .Rock and Blues styles. However, Lead Vocals have been a Huge surprise!
The crowd loves my singing. I sound like; Joe Cocker, Greg Allman, with a bluesy tone. Nobody was more shocked than me. A late bloomer.

I love to have some laughs. People think that I am hilarious, and I remain clueless as to why... :)

I hope that everyone enjoys the material.
