Canadian Steam 1959
Rare Canadian steam action from 1959. The final year. Picture quality ranges around good, more or less. Backlit scenes are numerous. The authentic audio raises this show up a notch.
A well put together release. The soundtrack prioritizes the steam locomotives. Narration is informative and perfectly placed. On-screen graphics contain details.
The films are a testament to Canadian steam in 1959. Although not always the best. They document the last major steam operations in Canada.
Canadian fans, this is an obvious must have. Any Railfan or Model Railroader may find this an enjoyable show. Bump up the rating for outstanding live audio and the rarity.
