Producer: Highball
Location: Deshler
Timeframe: 2006
Length: 70 minutes
A visit to the railroad intersection at Deshler, Ohio. Both are CSX lines. East to West is the Chicago line. North South has Toledo to Cincinnati, Ohio. Tower now is used by Maintenance of Way.
A single DVD-R. Advertised as a widescreen show. Live environmental audio. Listed as narrated. It is not!
No menu. Push play only. No maps or any extras. Although there is a minute or two of narrative at the beginning, no other narration follows. The music is what was used on the old VHS title Yesterdays Santa Fe program.
This series from Highball has been less than impressive. Check this one out now.
To the Trains… 👉

CSX 165 leads off the show. Some foreign power is interspersed throughout. No train details are ever given.

Engine 9045 passes the tower.

BNSF passes the abandoned depot.

CSX 5366 in dark blue paint on a Piggyback.

CSX 9992 leads an unidentified passenger or executive special. Zero information is presented. Yawn…

A good visual scene of the crossing. No information. Spare me!
Hot Spots 20 Deshler
This show is extremely lame. Zero information within the show. It plays like the half-baked production it is.
Although the video and audio are good. Mega boring to sit through. Rates one star for the decent visuals. A needless release, as Deshler is better presented elsewhere. A waste of time. Straight to the junk heap.
