To the Trains… 👉

Crew change

The yard at Wellington, Kansas is a busy place. S-LBKC is a stack from Long Beach to Kansas City. A quick stop for a crew change here. Engine 5349 (SD45) is on the point.

Wellington Yard

Trailing in the lash-up are: 2712 (GP30), 2928 (GP35)and 5065 (SD40). All Santa Fe locomotives in blue and yellow paint. This is an Eastbound Conrail move.

Eastbound stack train S-LACH led by engine 913. This LA to Chicago double stack. One of their longest Stack Trains.

SD 75 202

At Argonia, SD75 #202 on it’s first run to the West with a long Piggyback move. Train #199 is Eastbound. Many Roadway trailers on this one. More Intermodal traffic is seen.

A GP30 fronts local #011 and travels Westbound.

Some blue and yellows lead a loaded vehicle train at the Harper depot. Loads go West and empties on Eastbound returns.

Q-Laws

A Q- LAWS is a hot Intermodal. Quality from Los Angeles to Willow Springs. Engine 841 in front with UPS trailers pass the Kiowa depot.

Waynoka

Waynoka still has a station that was turned into a museum and even an unused Harvey House. An Eastbound Manifest rolls through.

The road train with four newer Warbonnets passes a local on the siding. That one travels at about 60mph. A United Parcel Service Priority Q train. This from UPS in Willow Springs to Los Angeles. A healthy amount of traffic is seen here.

Caboose 808

Wide vision caboose 808 appears on a Maintenance of Way train.

Santa Fe’s Waynoka Sub

A tour of this subdivision in Santa Fe days. Plenty of newer Warbonnets. Solid sets of blue and yellow, as well. Long looks of freight consists. Although not the best angles to identify the cars. Still, Model Railroaders should get the general train details.

Although the narrative has good information, he has a very dry style. Viewpoints are usually similar from trackside. While quickly paced, it does become somewhat repetitive. Some of the wind noise needed to be leveled off.

At the end of the day. Visual imagery holds back from a higher rating. This release has value in historical aspects. If it piques your interest, not bad. Those who prefer higher quality video can pass. The recent Mokan shows are better.

Rating: 2 1/2 Stars

The crowd loves my singing. I sound like; Joe Cocker, Greg Allman, with a bluesy tone. Nobody was more shocked than me. A late bloomer.

I love to have some laughs. People think that I am hilarious, and I remain clueless as to why... :)

I hope that everyone enjoys the material.
