The final volume in the series is a flawed one. Volume 6 continues it’s tour of the Southeast. CSX in Georgia. Starts in Northern Georgia. Progression is South towards Florida.Hotspots such as Cordele and Folkston. Foreign power adds variety.

Available in a single or as part of the set. Minor differences. No chapter menu or narrative choice for example in the multi disc set.
A DVD-R. Fullscreen 4×3 aspect ratio. Videography is fine. Live environmental audio. Again, a strong but super annoying soundtrack.
Chapter search function. Narrator is Chris Wehman. Train symbol graphics. No maps.
To the Trains… 👉

Action in Northern Georgia. Train Q-675. The leader is CSX 8888 with a pair of UP engines on the Abbeyville sub. Of note, the 8888 was once involved in a runaway train South of Toledo, Ohio. The Crazy 8’s Incident. The freight ran uncontrolled until a locomotive attached to the rear of the train. No injuries that 2001 occurence. Why are all these trains sounding horns? No rest allowed for a viewer’s ears.

Symbol Q-230. Crossing the Edowah River bridge.

GP40-2 and a GP30 slug haul an empty rail train. W-042. 19ms There are alot of trains blowing horns. Too many grade crossing setups. Not every train needs blaring horns…

Cordele has double diamonds. A featured hotspot. CSX 5417 on a Stone Train. K-913.

I downtown Cordele. Yet, another road crossing. Even more blowing horns continue. Spare me! A rare show that is a hearing hazard and a headache. Couldn’t even finish suffering through this release.
Tour of CSX Volume 6
Too many constant horn blowing trains. Miserable soundtrack ruins this show. It is like pouring way too much salt on food. The only flavor left is salt! Balance is a key to a great presentation. Ears need some rest. Becomes unwatchable. Huge disappointment. It may appeal to small children and maybe a couple foamers.
