To the Trains… 👉

Lebanon Jct., Kentucky

Begins with CSX at Lebanon Jct. Former L&N tracks. Continuation on the old L&N for a little bit.

King’s Mountain

King’s Mountain on the busy, ex: Southern Railway. Specifically, this is the Rathole line. Norfolk Southern 2538 leads a train of tank cars and mixed freight.

Cumberland River

This huge Trestle spans the Cumberland River and hosts several freights. Still along the Rathole at Burnside, Kentucky. Northbound with two engines, slows to meet an interesting off-line (UP/ SP) powered Southbound train.

Copper Creek Viaduct

Norfolk Southern 8985 General Electric C44-9W fronts a coal train. Location is Copper Creek Viaduct at Speer’s Ferry, Virginia. This line was originally Clinchfield Railroad on top level. Lower track is former Southern Railway. Norfolk Southern hauls hoppers. A CSX move is overhead. Both railroads utilize both tracks via trackage rights. What a scene for Model Railroaders!

Cumberland

CSX at Cumberland, Maryland. This was Baltimore and Ohio route to Sand Patch Grade or Grafton for St. Louis. Close-up view of the departing CSX 6935 led move. Note trailing engines from Norfolk Southern and a Soo Line.

Cumberland Yard

CSX 9713 (GP40)in MOW Orange meets CSX helpers at Cumberland Yard. Engine 8212 (SD40-2) fronts the helper set.

Harper’s Ferry

Westbound CSX hoppers exit the Harpers Ferry Tunnel and onto the bridge.  Three locomotive lash-up. This route is former B&O.

Alexandria

Virginia Railway Express at Alexandria, Virginia. This commuter has rebuilt F40 as engine V30 leading. Of course there are various Amtrak trains throughout, as well.

Ashland Station

Former Conrail paint on CSX 8734 is hauling coal by the Ashland Station in Virginia. This line is the old RF&P. That was Richmond, Fredericksburg & Potomac.

Orange Juice Train

CSX has a Tropicana Orange Juice train running empty at Ashland.

CSX & NS Through the Border States

A whirlwind tour of the designated areas. Good script that contains historical information. Many locations that are uncommon. Videography is fine. Soundtrack is balanced. Overall, Green Frog quality in all aspects.

This release is unique in a crowded market. The variety of CSX and NS also contains plenty of passenger action. Something for everyone.

A musician for many years. Guitar is my main instrument. Enjoy bass playing .Rock and Blues styles. However, Lead Vocals have been a Huge surprise!
The crowd loves my singing. I sound like; Joe Cocker, Greg Allman, with a bluesy tone. Nobody was more shocked than me. A late bloomer.

I love to have some laughs. People think that I am hilarious, and I remain clueless as to why... :)

I hope that everyone enjoys the material.
