No Chapter menu. Chapter advance. On-screen subtitles. No maps. Narrated by Chris Wehman.

A single DVD-R. Fullscreen aspect. Live audio. Solid picture. Fine soundtrack.

To the Trains… 👉

South of Deshler. CSX 8065 is going Southbound . Train is passing these old B&O style signals with a freight.

Q-501

Conrail paint on Q-501. Renumbered 8809 leads CSX 8418. This Manifest move just having left Deshler.

Leipsic Jct

CSX 67 leads a trio of engines. This Q-507 crosses the Norfolk Southern at Leipsec Jct. Sounds like a bunch of empties. Note the abandoned tower.

Indiana & Ohio

I&O 4082 moves slowly down this weedy line.

Coal Train

Northwood, Ohio. GE AC44CW #100. It leads a coal train on CSX rails. Vickers is a busy crossing with Norfolk Southern.

Toledo

Canadian National Transfer Job Z-243. Illinois Central 6071 at Wallbridge Yard in Toledo.

Regular readers know that I often mention Producer Mary McPherson of Diverging Clear as a knowledgeable railfan. She sent me this additional information on this Illinois Central 6071. Interesting and worthy of inclusion…

<I noted your new show review on a CSX title, and there is a shot of IC 6071 in Toledo.  #6071 began life as EMD SD40 test-bed and demonstrator #434, the very first SD40 and 645 engined locomotive.  From EMD, the locomotive became GM&O #950 and was renumbered 6071 during the Illinois Central Gulf era.

In 2009, the locomotive was donated to the Monticello Railway Museum by Canadian National, and it remains there today.  Traction motors and some other components will be needed to make 6071 operational, but the prime mover has been started at the museum.> Mary McPherson.

Fostoria

Fostoria. Q-231 is behind CSX 7693 and NS 6666 on a Transfer Job.

Fostoria

CSX 2292 with 6496 hits the diamonds at Fostoria.

G-900 Grain Train

Grainer G-900 after a snowfall at Fostoria.

Marion

Marion. Train Q-279. CSX 8029, HLCX 7233 (ex: BN). Former Conrail route to Indianapolis. Extended look at the Marion vicinity.

Warwick

Ends up on the Newcastle sub. CSX 8790 departs Warwick.

Tour of CSX Volume 3

A brisk pace as Ohio is toured. A mixture of assorted freights. Foreign locomotives appear frequently. Run through, leased, and perhaps some trackage rights. It is not mentioned. Still, the variety is welcome.

Locations and train symbols are often called. Pro shot with natural audio. Excellent composition. Balanced soundtrack.

The one item that is needed. A map or two. Once the show moves from the well-known places, the small towns are obscure.

Overall, a high quality CSX show from Green Frog.

A musician for many years. Guitar is my main instrument. Enjoy bass playing .Rock and Blues styles. However, Lead Vocals have been a Huge surprise!
The crowd loves my singing. I sound like; Joe Cocker, Greg Allman, with a bluesy tone. Nobody was more shocked than me. A late bloomer.

I love to have some laughs. People think that I am hilarious, and I remain clueless as to why... :)

I hope that everyone enjoys the material.
