Bethlehem Steel and Sea-Land “Landbridge” trains, as well as mixed freights from Oneonta to Hudson, NE-84 and NE-87 and combined trains.
To the Trains…

Starts in April 1979. Train OH-2. Oneonta to Hudson. Norfolk and Western lash-up led by NW 6162. Brandt, Pennsylvania. Had to look up this town. Many lighting problems early on. Backlit issues.

At Lanesboro, with a Northbound. Alco C-420 #411 leads a freight under Starrucca Viaduct in April 1979.

This ex. Reading 7414 with 4 motors and train RW6. Unexplained symbol. He never clarifies RW throughout the show. My guess is Rouses Point to Wilkes-Barre.

RS3M 506 in Bicentennial paint is last pusher on a heavy RW6.

D&H 7620 on a Southbound. A well lit scene at Ararat.

A view of Starrucca Trestle. More Sealand traffic.

EN-01. 7324 on the point in December snow. No info given on this symbol either.

Train OEN-2. C’mon Man. What’s that symbol? Meets a Southbound at Ararat.

Train SL-1 at Susquehanna. D&H 7323 leads 7406 on this Sea-Land move. 1980.

Train SL-2. Alco C-420 is ex: Lehigh Valley 409. This three unit lash-up is in tattered paint. Apparently, a Sea-Land train after a later shot reveals the consist.

Alco 501 to EMD 7415 gets coupled up on a siding
Delaware and Hudson Volume 6
D&H Volume 6. A good-looking show, overall. The renumbered Reading and Lehigh Valley units add variety. Union Pacific plus Norfolk and Western run throughs are great. Still, a smattering of older Alco engines are in service.
This is mostly filmed well. Earlier exposure, camera positions are solved as timeline progresses. Live audio is balanced. Excellent film restoration!
The narrative is basic. Could have greatly improved, with definitions of many symbols. Deduction for too many undefined symbols.
Delaware and Hudson fans should find this an enjoyable release.
