Metroliner #110 is at Washington Union Station in Washington DC. The locomotive is an AEM-7 #911. A Swedish designed engine with 7,000 horsepower and 125 mph rating.

Old Pennsylvania Railroad signals

Immediately departs, under the Catenary. Automatic train stop equipped. In other words, it is a form of a Deadman switch. Notice the old Pennsylvania Railroad signals along the route. Not too mention, the shiny railheads.

CETC. Centralized Electric Traffic Control. This system helps dispatch. There are no road crossings South of New York City. The locomotive rides quietly. Rarely sounding a horn.

Speed reduction down from 125 to 70 mph at crossovers. These are specific limits for the high speed running.
