Single DVD-R. Detailed Chapter Menu. Mike Bednar narrative.
Usual high quality JPM film restoration. Soundtrack is trains. Nicely done.

Begins in a Cab ride with an odd cut in. Inside view, from an EMD E8 unit. A Phoebe Snow ride along. Some vestibule shots, as well, during the journey. Other Phoebe Snow and additional EL passenger trains, are viewed.

Baldwin lash-up with empty hoppers. These were good for mine runs.

Many in/out viewpoints on the way to Pocono Summit. Assorted stations.

Trip continues onboard. Arrival at Scranton Station. Another EL train departs.

Tunkhannock Viaduct is an immense structure. An Eastbound Phoebe Snow is barely visible, as it crosses.
Sussex Branch Historic background. Maps and pictures.

EL RS3 couples up at Branchville. Passenger trains are short. Two or three cars. Alco or GP7 types for power.
Hoboken line West End
Rutherford has various Passenger moves. Alco and Electromotive power.

An Erie painted Alco PA, with a friendly Engineer. This on Moodna Viaduct. NRHS Excursion.
Port Jervis, New York Former Erie Railroad trackage.

Erie GP7s at Port Jervis with freight. Excellent freight action here.

EL GP35 and SD45 move through Port Jervis.
Port Jervis is jam packed with early Erie Lackawanna! This really elevates the show. Some fine 40′ box cars are seen.

At Mill Rift. Super elevated Curve. Too cool. Show ends with trains on Starucca Viaduct.

Two shades of red. This scene is for the Model railroaders.
Erie Lackawanna Volume 2
EL Vol. 2 is a diverse show. The beginning Cab Ride and externals from the Phoebe Snow. These continue far into the program. Providing an extensive line tour.
Sussex Branch is a different world. Rural Northern New Jersey. Long gone trains there.
Hoboken Line. A mash-up of miscellaneous trains. Although, mostly passenger.
A little light on the Freight Train side…
Until, Port Jervis! Very clean films. Early merger diesels. New units too. A parade of Freight Trains here. Long Chapter.
This should satisfy both sides of the house. Chapter menu gives easy access.
Must have for Erie Lackawanna fans. Any Railfans or Model railroaders of the 1960s can find this a worthy release.
