The last years of Lehigh Valley. Bound Brook, NJ to Treichlers, PA. Coal Operations. Also, joint Penn Central Ore Trains. A little bit of Delaware and Hudson run through freights.

Lehigh Valley is the centerpiece in this 2nd of 4 Volumes. The Anthracite Roads series.

This release has the usual features. Detailed Chapter Menu. Train sound audio. Narration. No maps. DVD-R.

Mike Bednar is uniquely qualified to narrate this show. He was a career employee, with Lehigh Valley. Amazing recall on details of the operations.

A quartet of General Electric locomotives at Bound Brook

Bound Brook, New Jersey. Four GE diesels.

Penn Central GP30 leads an Ore Train at Easton, Pennsylvania.

A Lehigh Valley freight travels through Easton.

A good amount of action occurs around Easton.

Looking neglected, the Alco trio departs the yard. Allentown area has much footage.

LV C-628 units in a solid Lashup of Snowbird scheme, are a rare find by this time.

This show does a fine job of Lehigh Valley 1970s coverage. Film restoration is outstanding. Cinematography is great. Narrator has that Insider’s viewpoint. He is also knowledgeable. Excellent show!

The crowd loves my singing. I sound like; Joe Cocker, Greg Allman, with a bluesy tone. Nobody was more shocked than me. A late bloomer.

I love to have some laughs. People think that I am hilarious, and I remain clueless as to why... :)
