Steam in the 50’s – All Aboard Series – PBS

Format DVD Length 30 minutes
Locations: Chicago, Canada, more…
Time Period: 1950’s and museum visit.
Sources: Jerry Carson, John Koch, James Koch
A PBS format train video, from the All Aboard series. Howard Goodwin and film crew at Mid-Continent museum, North Freedom,WI.. Next, CNW 1385 shown in present day operation. The segment is a complete overview of the out and back operation there. It does run fairly long.
Grand Trunk Western , Milwaukee Road and C&O are briefly covered. extended looks at : New York Central Hudson, Norfolk & Western Y6B, B&O , Rock Island and Canadian National are the bulk of the program. Some other roads are glimpsed.
A worthwhile train video. Would have preferred more vintage footage. You don’t get everything in 30 minute formats.
Quality varies from modern to old 8mm with some black & white to sepia toned film. Sound is all across the board. Not a bad show, not a great one.

A musician for many years. Guitar is my main instrument. Enjoy bass playing .Rock and Blues styles. However, Lead Vocals have been a Huge surprise!
The crowd loves my singing. I sound like; Joe Cocker, Greg Allman, with a bluesy tone. Nobody was more shocked than me. A late bloomer.

I love to have some laughs. People think that I am hilarious, and I remain clueless as to why... :)

I hope that everyone enjoys the material.
